Ae’o Profits
Ae’o is a mid-luxury building built by Howard Hughes in December 2018. It sits above the largest Whole Foods on Oahu, with amenities such as movie theater, dining room and media room for private events, lap pool, family pool, jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor gym, steam and sauna rooms, dog run, and guest suites.
Despite being open for less than a year, there has been 20 sold MLS transactions. On average, the sellers made a profit of $43,630, which was a 6.2% gain from when they bought it during pre-construction sales. The distribution was mixed, with some units losing value, while others gained as much as 23%. Below is a histogram of profits and losses.
